The Proud Little Rose

Once upon time, in a far far away desert, there was a drop-dead gorgeous little rose who was so proud off her smashing looks. Her only complain was expanding next to an ugly looking Cactus. Every day, the pretty looking rose would insult and mock the cactus on his looks, all while the cactus remained quiet. All the other plants nearby tried to make the dashing Rose see sense, but she was too swayed by her own looks. One Red hot summer, the desert became dry as rough, and there was no water left for the plants. The pretty rose quickly began to fade. Her beautiful dashing petals dried up, losing their bright lush color.

Looking to the cactus, she saw a sparrow dip his beak into the cactus to drink some water. Though Ashamed, the rose asked the cactus if she could have some water. The kind warm hearted cactus readily agreed, helping them both through the tough summer, as loved friends.

MORAL: NEVER JUDGE ANYONE BY THE WAY THEY LOOK.

THE WELL ADVISED OLD OWL

There was an grey haired owl who lived in an oak tree. Everyday, he observed incidents that occurred around him. Yesterday, he watched as a young boy helped an early man carry a heavy basket. Today, he saw a young girl screaming at her mother. The more he saw, the less he spoke. As the days went on, he spoke less but heard more. The mature owl heard people talking and telling stories. He perceive a woman saying an elephant jumped over a fence. He heard a man saying that he had never made a mistake. The wise old owl had seen and heard what happened to people. There were some who became better, some who became worse. But the old owl in the tree had become wiser, each and every day.

The Little Seed of Faith

Once upon a time in a small village, there was an old gardener named Eli who was known for his lush, beautiful garden. People would often come to seek his advice on growing plants and flowers, and he always had a kind word and a helpful tip.

One day, a young girl named Lily came to Eli with a small, seemingly lifeless seed. “I want to grow this seed into a beautiful flower,” she said, “but I’m afraid it’s too small and fragile to ever amount to anything.”

Eli took the seed in his hands and smiled gently. “Sometimes, faith is like a tiny seed,” he explained. “It might seem insignificant, but with care and patience, it can grow into something wonderful.”

Lily was skeptical but decided to trust Eli’s words. She planted the seed in a small pot, watered it daily, and placed it in a sunny spot. Days turned into weeks, and still, there was no sign of growth. Lily began to lose hope and wondered if the seed would ever sprout.

One morning, as Lily was about to give up, she noticed a tiny green shoot emerging from the soil. Excitement and disbelief filled her heart as she watched the shoot grow into a beautiful flower over the next few weeks. It was not the grand bloom she had imagined, but it was vibrant and unique in its own way.

When the flower was fully grown, Lily took it to Eli. “Thank you for helping me believe,” she said. “I see now that even the smallest seed can grow into something beautiful if you just have faith.”

Eli smiled and replied, “Faith, like your seed, may start small, but it has the power to grow into something extraordinary. Even when you can’t see progress, keep nurturing your faith, and it will flourish in its own time.”

From that day on, Lily understood that faith is not just about believing in what is visible, but trusting in the unseen potential within. And with that lesson, she faced every challenge with a heart full of hope and belief.

Moral: Faith, no matter how small, has the power to grow into something beautiful and remarkable. Even when progress is not visible, trust in the process and nurture your faith—it will eventually lead to wonderful results.
